SCHOOL
As I was approaching high school graduation, I had to decide on which school I wanted to attend. I had already received an acceptance letter and nomination to West Point. But upon visiting the Academy during the Fall of 2003, I decided that it wasn't for me. I applied to the University of Kansas under an ROTC scholarship, and was accepted. I enjoyed every minute of my four years at KU and have no regrets about not attending West Point. I commissioned from KU in 2008 as an active duty Officer.
FAMILY
After returning from a deployment over seas, I met the most wonderful woman. We married a short time later and have been together eight years. We have four beautiful children together. She is my best friend.
PROFESSION
As an active duty member of the Unite States Army, I am honored to be part of the Field Artillery. I believe this picture says it all.
